Brush & Ink Thank You Note

Yes, I know what you're thinking: Have I been extremely thankful lately or something? See below for yet another thank you note I recently made using brush and black india ink.

I've been making greeting cards "to order", as I briefly mentioned in my last post. I think I'm finally honing in on something I would like to replicate, though. Rather than creating blank cards by hand that are multi-purpose (with no words/phrases), I may just give in to the technology that is so easily/cheaply available to me and get some of these babies printed in multiples, if you know what I'm sayin'.

I still have a deep preference for things that are handmade, though. You just can't beat the sort of...honesty that something handmade possesses. Aesthetically, I also love the texture and feel of something that is painted, pasted, or sewn. It's too bad that it's so impractical in many (most?) commercial circumstances.
